Does anyone know anything about 1-Octanol?

I heard that 1-Octanol is being investigated as a treatment for Essential Tremors. I have em & I don't know much about 1-Octanol but I've heard it has similarities to alcohol. Alcohol can temporarily reduce tremors for some people but alcohol causes intoxication & other problems. From what I understand; 1-Octanol does not cause intoxication or the other problems that alcohol does witch is why it's being investigated as a treatment. I don't drink but I used to drink occasionally years ago & the buzz did reduce my tremors. I heard 1-Octanol has helped some in trial studies. I'm wondering what kinds of stuff has 1-Octanol in it I can get it in liquid form for scientific purposes; would that be safe to drink My experience with medication for tremors & other things has been horrible & unless it causes me to die; I'm probably better off trying something on my own instead of going to a doc. I felt like I was having a stroke at one point & I looked that med up & it had side-effects of causing tremors

Please don't go drinking the stuff on your own unless you know proper dosage and side effects. That would be my advice.

That is good advice. A capsule would be safer & much simpler. I highly doubt I'll be able to get it from a doc thou. I wonder if it's possible to get it as the liquid & have it put into capsules
