What is your response to one can (8.4 fl oz) of Red Bull (regular) energy drink? Good? Neutral? Other? The can actually contains the following wording: Red Bull energy drink - Improves performance, especially during times of increased stress or strain - Increases endurance - Increases concentration and improves reaction speed - Stimulants the metabolism. Nutrition Facts...(and so on) (Sold in the United States, made in Austria)...Experiences?

I tried Red Bull once and I did not like it. I did not like the taste of it. I did not really feel any caffeine high or anything like that. It did make me a little nauseaous but that's about it.

I rarely have red bull but i do sometimes have relentless (which is very similar). It is much cheaper per mill.

I only have relentless when im doing coursework/exams/revision or just am really tired and i need to do something, like walk somewhere etc

My experience of it is that after a short time, maybe 15mins it starts to give me a buzz and gives me energy, but from about 30-40mins after that I have a "crash" where even though i don't necessarily feel exhausted, i do feel very relaxed. I tried taking it during a couple of my exams. I started off really quickly and well and did plans for the questions, but after that (during/after my crash) i was writing much slower, but what i was writing was a lot better quality.

In these exams I probably averaged a low/mid 2:1 overall. However, if i finished the tests (ie had no time limit) then from the averages of what i got in the questions i did do i would have got a 1st.

Next time i definitely wont do it again and will instead do more revision and get a proper night sleep instead. :D

Red 'Bull' = Kool-Aid with too much sugar. Less caffeine than coffee. Energy drinks are marketed to lightweights whose systems are so sensitive, they're barely alive to begin with. If you need a caffeine buzz, but don't have the stones to just drink coffee and need it to taste like a kiddie drink, go with Mountain Dew. MD has tons more jolt per ounce.

Red Bull doesn't taste very nice and caffeine doesn't seem to affect me.

caffeine has little effect on me. i like the taste of redbull but at 3 bucks for an 8.4oz can, its kinda pricey. ill stick with my mountain dew.

Breakfast of champions: Mountain Dew and a King Size Reese's PB Cup

i get a little nauseous from all the sugar, but that dissipates within 20 minutes or so.

It makes me sleepy, which I know is not what it is supposed to do. I think it is because of the ADHD.

Ugh, I hate energy drinks. They don't give me energy, just make me feel really sluggish and unwell and the fizzy ones also upset my stomach and give me terrible gas.

Red bull tastes awful, IMO. It is almost like the vile Mountain Dew. I know so many people who drink both of these and I get nauseous thinking about it.

Don't like the taste and often does nothing for me. When it does I feel weird and prefer to just avoid it and caffeine in general. My wife and I went out with her dad and his girlfriend a while back as I don't go out I didn't know what to drink so had the same as them, vodka and redbull. The next day I felt really odd, like jelly like almost and as if my insides were vibrating :? can't really explain it. My wife drinks loads of the stuff but I'd rather eat properly so I don't need the caffeine
