Does anybody know why herbal diuretics are off the shelves - at least in Montreal, Canada - any of the brand names, they're unavailable. And the pharmacist acts curiously naive, says he doesn't know.

Not sure. But herbal diuretics are everywhere. Grab a bunch of dandelion or birch leaves.

But that's just it. Dandelion is gone too. I'd develop a conspiracy theory but herbals are not exactly jfk.

Do you not have a park or a lawn near you you could harvest some from?

Yeah, you can usually find the plant form of diuretics somewhere. If not in pill form or in the wild, try the produce section of the store. They sell dandelion greens here in the grocery store.
