my weight is being all up and down lately. Over the past month, one doctor weighed me in at 313, another at 309 and the same doctor a couple weeks later at 296. I was put on HCTZ, a diuretic for my blood pressure and it seems to be working well. I thought I've been losing weight on it because I've been weighing myself on my home scale and it appeared as though my weight was going down. I weighed myself shortly after starting the HCTZ and I was down to 290-something. A week later, I was down to 281 which was awesome.

Today I'm back up to 300. I double checked to be sure.

I have been walking and eating better as evidenced by my cholesterol results. They have normalized. The good came up while the bad went down. I wasn't that much off to begin with.

So I'm frustrated and I don't know what to do.

Have you checked for thyroid or insulin regulation issues?

yup. The doc just did a thyroid panel. Checked my blood sugar too. All came back okay.
