I have RLS and I wonder whether it is more common among people on the spectrum, as we are both more sensitive to sensations (sensitivity to stimuli) and more physically restless (self-stimulation). It seems as if there should be some correlation. So do others have RLS?

I included a poll for those who just want to add a quick response, rather than a comment.

Since starting a certain med (doxepin) I've been experiencing that a bit.

The strange thing is that it reminded me of having that feeling when I was a kid. I'd notice it at night when trying to fall asleep. I had no idea what it was, or that it wasn't normal, of course. I think it stopped in my teens, but it's hard to remember.

I've had other meds set that off, also, such as Zyprexia and SSRI's. I wasn't on anything as a kid, though. Maybe the RLS improved a bit and turned into a propensity for RLS instead.

I have no idea if it's related to ASC's.
