Hope that this doesn't make any United fans bitter, but I am glad that we have the chance to obtain our first trophy in 35 years.

Commiseration to the United fans...it was a good game but finally...City fans have something to look forward to for once...at least you guys have the European Champions League AND the Premier League.

To any City fans out there...discuss and of course, Bolton and Stoke fans can talk here too.

I hate football full-stop, as does my Dad. The amount of money they are payed is just... ROOOARRR!! !!

I long for the good old days of football then it cheep to go to the games & the players played for the club not there bank accounts.

I'm glad people are not going to flame in this thread on x team being better then y team as I respect all the teams no matter how good or bad they do in the leagues and cups.

@cdfox7: Although I would naturally say that, my brother and mum are Man United fans so I couldn't insult all the fans from Manchester...and I hope Liverpool become such a force in England again as they have a great history in our league.

I completely agree with you, but I still love watching football despite that...all I do is buy the shirts and watch the occassional match...I wouldn't exactly support footballers with that much money as they do not contribute to our Country....but they do however, provide us entertainment like Musicians do and Artists.

That's fair enough...although I looked up both stadiums and facepalmed that Liverpool's is within Everton whilst Everton have to travel further to go to their stadium....why put a rival's stadium in your neighbourhood?

Long story, so I'll make it short Everton use to play home games in Anfield about the 1880s they have a rent dispute with the landlord so they moved to Goodison & the landlord formed Liverpool FC , that side of Stanley Park is an area called Everton thats why. Before they moved they were called St. Domingo's Boys named after a local Methodist church in Everton. Everton first played on Stanley Park while Anfield was being build. Stanley Park is the "no man's land" between Anfield & Goodison, we both at two end of the park.

I was hoping Man City would win... I think we've got more chance of beating them in the Final! I'll be on my way down to Wembley in 3 hours 15 minutes.

That's awesome that you were at the game! I'm a stoke fan, but live in the states. You guys [the crowd] sounded immense.

I will support Man City in the final... Millwall always lose to stoke... come to think of it, they always lose to Man City too!
