I only like one type of cookies- chocolate chip.

ONLY those things, eh? Poor neurotic thing must be skin and bones.

"Respected publications like JAMA and Psychology Today are recognizing another new eating disorder, orthorexia, an obsession with healthy eating. That may not sound bad, as obsessions go, but those who carry good intentions too far can face serious risks. Kristie Rutzel, 27, dropped to 68 pounds when she was in the grip of her fixation on healthy eating - at one point she ate little more than raw broccoli and cauliflower."
A fixation on food that poses health risks is by definition NOT A FIXATION ON HEALTHY EATING- it is a generalized compulsion-based eating disorder not otherwise specified.

What is Adult Selective Eating? Like kids, adult picky eaters limit themselves to an extremely narrow range of foods.
How am I clinically-ill if the only potatoes I like are mashed, I don't eat bleu cheese dressing, abhor peanut butter, and refuse to eat entrees without a liberal dosing of hot sauce? EATING WHAT YOU LIKE AND NOT WHAT YOU DON'T IS NOT A MENTAL DISORDER, and doesn't inherently pose even physical health problems.
I hate yellow. Despise the color. I look horrible in it. Guess I'm OCD, or perhaps a Xanthophobe.
This crap's a joke- it trivializes the real eating disorders which pose very real, life-threatening risks.
