Yeah. My question is: are there any aspies with asthma? If so, leave me a reply.

I'm also asthmatic. :pale:

Possibly :?

I had asthma when I was younger, had to use inhalers from ages of 7-15 - had bad coughs all the time although never had an asthma attack, but I had serious problems with inhalers so stopped taking them at 15 and assumed I grew-out of having asthma.

I was a smoker but quit eight months ago, finally thought I'd be able to breath freely (I had tuberculosis as a baby, then asthma, then a smoker) but found I was actually still always out of breath and keep getting chest pains...so now my doctor is trying me on an inhaler again to see if I'm still suffering from asthma, so it's possible it is asthma.

I have asthma and chronic bronchitis. I take anihistamines and decongestants every day. I use one inhaler every time I exercise and another at night before I go to bed. In the past three years I've had about 3 or 4 real asthma attacks, but about 7 or 8 close-calls.

I don't know how it has anything to do with AS though. See, I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I am a real aspie.

What were your thoughts on the matter of autism and asthma ConfusedDude?
