hi there

past few days, I've been sleeping okay but when I get up in the morning, I am still very tired and I nap until around noon.

I can't figure out what's wrong.

Same here but for the past month.

A few possibilities:
depression
poor sleep quality at night so that you require more hours of sleep
? (I don't know what else!)

Could be the depression. I am being treated for it with Wellbutrin and Geodon. Haven't taken them in several days and only just went back on them yesterday. Suppose it could be withdrawal effects?

I've been sleeping straight through the night from 10-11 to 7-7:30.

Yes, it seems likely that withdrawal effects could cause that. I've taken both those medicines and I don't remember how I felt upon stopping them but I know going off certain medicines has caused excessive sleepiness in me.

I'm not a psychiatrist but my actual psychiatrist pointed out to me yesterday that Vitamin D insufficiency is widespread and that I should either get more sun or take supplements. So I wonder if it's possible for you to nap in the sun in your backyard and that might give you more energy after a few days, if you are trying to avoid going back on medicines? (EDIT: wait I see you went back on them. So hopefully that'll solve the problem for you. In any case...) I have a phobia of sun exposure so it wouldn't work for me but when I do "accidentally" get some sun I feel much less depressed and overall more energized.

That or Vitamin D supplements. Obviously this would not solve the problem fully but it might help.

Same here. I often take afternoon naps on the weekends to try and catch up. I envy people who can stay up late - I'm usually tired by 9pm, head to bed at 10:30 (otherwise my bf complains its too early)
