Wikipedia describes Holistic medicine - "...the term "holistic," has been used to describe approaches that take into account social considerations and other intuitive judgements.[12] The term holism, and so called approaches, appear in psychosomatic medicine in the 1970s, when they were considered one possible way to conceptualize psychosomatic phenomena. Instead of charting one-way causal links from psyche to soma, or vice-versa, it aimed at a systemic model, where multiple biological, psychological and social factors were seen as interlinked".

Personally I am experiencing much success with Ayurveda. Even as recently as the last few days (early October 2011) I am enjoying rapid improvement. That is in personal physical health and mental health. I have not "tested" myself with people yet but I am feeling more open and can see myself venturing to enjoy a shared project or two. (May never enjoy socialising and I'm ok with that).

:D

So please feel free to share your successful experiences with an Holistic therapy.
