I will have a model's body within 12 months
I've decided to cut back my drinking drastically, like only on very special occasions, and even then limit my intake to one or two in the course of the evening.
As much as I love a beer after a long day, or getting drunk occasionally, I have lofty goals which I'm trying to meet and cutting alcohol seems to be a logical next step.
I'm already on a diet plan that maximizes nutrition and is purely from scratch ingredients, and I'm doing the 6 small meals a day to maximize my metabolism. My mind is sharp, my mood is elevated, my energy levels are high and I'm starting to look lean again like I did in Highschool! My goal is to surpass my old self and have a body to be envied.
I have a jump rope and tonight I just bought a set of 10kg adjustable dumbbells. The nearby park has perfect benches I can use. I want a lean muscular model's body, every day I am improving my routine, learning more... soon my diet and exercise routine will be impeccable.
This to me is much more important than partying.

Nice decision, i heard somwhere that eating healthy and exercising can be very important for aspies. I notice it myself the moment i stop exercising or eat unhealthy. Having a nice body is good for confidence, energy and you get to discipline your mind which allows you to apply that to other area's of your life aswell. I find that running/jump rope and lifting is extremely good for this. Pushing yourself as far as you can past all the excuses feels really good. Even though you wanted to quit 5 minutes ago you are still going until it hurts.
Yeah, it's pretty cool to look and feel cool. I don't know, I never partied and drink to begin with, so it's not too hard for me to give them up.
One thing I will say, not that you'll likely be putting on a ton of muscle with 10kg dumbells, try not to use the scale to measure your success, try to just do it with bodyfat measurements if you can get them. Like for me, if I went by BMI, the only way I can even hit 24.5-25 BMI and not lose muscle is by getting down to 5% bodyfat, and even that would be assuming I gain no more muscle in the process. Even cardio will put muscle on you, hiking and whatnot, will all build muscle if you just have the protein intake be up. Try to keep your protein intake good, you should try to get at least a gram per KG of bodyweight if you're not lifting weights, and then a gram per pound if you're lifting weights seriously.
For me, the easiest thing wasn't motivating myself to look cool, I guess for me that just wasn't enough motivation, it was just finding a sport/physical activity I like, and then doing it everyday, and training for it seriously. I ice skate an hour a day most days, and then for off ice training, I started doing weights off ice for assistance work, and initially, it shocked my body a lot, I went from 215 to 180 in like 4 months. I did do some dieting, too, but yeah. Now I'm back up to 195, due to me lifting weights and more or less eating garbage this winter, but I gained a lot of muscle, as at my "old" 180 this summer, I was definitely not 5% bodyfat.
So now it's spring, Lent actually on the Christian calender, and it's a good time to go clean up and lose weight, so props to you for giving up the drinking and partying to pursue a healthier lifestyle. One thing I will say, you're not gonna have too many friends in your endeavor. My exercise hobbies and whatnot have really distanced me from my friends, you might find it's sorta lonely at the top in that regard. You might make some more friends who like working out or whatever, but don't be surprised if your old friends distance themselves from you after you get serious in the working out thing.
For dieting, basically just don't eat crap, that's about it. Be mindful somewhat of calories, but don't obsess over them. If you exercise a decent amount, and don't eat crap, cook your food yourself, you'll be pretty much fine. Just try not to eat "useless" food, too. Me personally, I find some of the best dieting foods are beans, mushrooms, and cabbage. Mushrooms are especially good for low calorie meat substitutes, like a sandwich made with peppers, onions, and mushrooms, along with Worcestershire sauce, very similar to a Philly steak sandwich.
But yeah, have fun and good luck.

Ah, I know. I actually have lots of muscle left over from a few years ago when I worked out and I don't want to get any bigger. I just want definition and tone, and to lower body fat %
I do get lots of protein from all the mushrooms I add to everything, and my staple is rice and beans which is protein heavy.
Regardless I can always buy more weight if necessary.
Good point, I'm thinking of getting some rollerblades for the spring/summer. Half because I'm sick of paying for the train, but also it's a fun activity.
Well I recently moved to a new city, been here a month and I only have two friends here who I rarely see anyways, so what better time to start..
But yeah, have fun and good luck.
Thanks!
