Hey Guys,
Sometimes when I'm out shopping or whatever I get crazy itching manly but not limited to my whole back, Yes I showered and it's not like a normal itch and it basically forces me to go home.
I was thinking it might be a sensory issue that other people have.

Sometimes that happens to me too. I wonder if it might be nerve endings acting up as a result of doing something that causes a degree of sensory overload. It often affects my back too---usually the center of my back just below my neck and down a few inches.

I itch a lot too, some of it is allergies, and some I have no doubt is due to over-stimulated nerve endings. It mostly bothers me when I try to sleep. It keeps me up most nights.

I get VERY itchy legs when walking - have to stop every few seconds to scratch my legs, I must look so weird.
Can't decide whether this is dry skin, razor irritation, poor circulation, OCD, an RLS symptom, sensory issue...or all the above -_-

yes.

i am sometimes constantly itchy. when focussed intensely on something it stops or i forget about it. sometimes feels like being rubbed with fiberglass. shower water spray stings. i wonder sometimes if i can actually feel my hair grow or something. i wrote a post here some time ago about it. now i've been diagnosed twice with dermographism. scratching at any itch or anything irritating my skin will make it worse and i'll break out in hives. i've been instructed to take antihistamines every day and every night but i don't always like to. the day antihistamines actually make me both drowsy and anxious, and make my nose drip. the benadryl knocks me out solid like i'm drunk, into the next day.

if yours is similar, antihistamines might help.

When you're dehydrated the lower part of your legs is usually the first place to feel dry/itchy. Try drinking more water.

Allergies to soap used to wash clothes with that does not get thoroughly rinsed out-- or fabric softener or anything put on the cloth-- allergies to the soap or lotion you might use.
