With your food? I mean, you don't need fiber for exercise, you just need it to crap.

Definitely don't eat fiber before working out. Makes me bloated and gives me cramps.

Actually, you don't have to avoid all fiber before a workout, and it probably depends on you, but I'm fine if I eat something like shredded wheat, but not if I eat quinoa.

Probably should stay away from soluble fiber.

You can eat fiber 1-2 hours before working out.

A good tip is to drink water between your fiber rich meals and not during them. This will prevent water retention.

Definitely wouldn't eat quinoa and red beans before a workout again. PHEW!

I like a little fiber or fat about an hour before exercise. It helps me concentrate on what I'm doing not to feel hungry.
