Today I get a big cut to the base of the neck while razing myself with (accidentaly) a old razor who rested for years in the washroom cabinet. Is there a risk that I may have been contaminate with tetanus? :pale:

Of course there is, you just cut yourself with a rusty blade!

Something you don't want to mess with because if you get it, you have a 10% chance to die.

Well, the blades don't appear to be rusty really...

Depends on how deep the cut is. If it starts to get red I'd go to the doctor. Layman advice, so take it for what it's worth. Was this an accident?

Regardless that's one vaccination I'd recommend keeping up with. Once every 10 years to prevent a pretty nasty disease doesn't sound so bad

Better to see a doctor rather risk it.

I get to the clinic today, and they give me tetanus vaccination. Of course, it take a few days before the immunisation take effect, and I had it only two day after the cut, so I may not be out of troubles. Then again one of my brother is a ambulance technician, and it said that razor blades are not dangerous. Still I'm afraid, really afraid. :pale: Less afraid since the vaccination, but still afraid. What if I woke up next morning with tetanus. Afraid to go to sleep. :(
