is casein only in cows milk or is it is other milks aswell because personally i have found that goat cheese agrees with my system much better than regular cheese

I don't know if it's in non cow milk, but if it is in goat milk it may be in smaller quantity and/or it is likely to be at least a little bit different than the casein in cow milk, so your system may handle it better. Goat's milk does have a reputation of being easier to digest than cow milk.

Casein is also used in other products, and not just dairy. It is added to many things, and I can't remember why off hand. It is even added to some non dairy soy cheeses, I think for flavor, but they still don't taste like cheese to me. :lol:

From what I know, goat products tend to have not only less casein, but a different type of casein. Some people only have trouble with certain types (usually the one from that cows produce). Apparently for sheep products, it' much better tolerated also.

If you are after cheeses, you could try goats cheese or sheeps cheese.

If you are after milk, there are goat, sheep, soy, rice, almond, or coconut milks you can try.
