After I eat something I usually don't feel that great. I just had cereal and I kinda feel nauseous. Not too much but I don't like it. Sometimes when I eat toast I get this mild pain in my chest above my stomach.

I know when I drink coffee it makes me really nauseous too.

I know this is vague. Any ideas? What should I start looking into?

I think there's a lot of questions that'd have to be asked like, does this only happen in the morning and how long has it been going on, how long does it last, has any over the counter products (pepto bismol, etc.) helped and could it be a temporary bug? If it's causing discomfort in your life, you should definitely get it checked out. Obviously, there could also be a serious medical issue associated with nausea after eating (another reason to get checked out) but it's very unlikely and I myself, have had periods where I felt ill right after eating for no apparent reason, over the course of a week or so. I do have emetophobia (phobia of vomiting) so I'm hypersensitive to how my stomach feels but typically when I go through these phases of little to no appetite followed by nausea, they go away on their own. If you do see a doctor for it, let me know what they said!

I feel your pain (or nausea for that matter.) I sometimes dread eating because I know what will follow.

Yeah it sucks. For me it is somewhat random at this point. I will try to spot a pattern.

Thanks for the replies

It sounds like you could have a mild case of reflux. There are many causes and different things are needed to fix it depending on what the issue is. It is best to see a doctor. For now try to avoid salycilates as they can make gord worse.
