Is it a common side effect if you have human growth hormone injections/treatment for your facial bones too grow heavier?

Unless you have a medical need for it, you should reconsider.

Yes. Google images for "acromegaly" -- that's the name of the medical condition where a person's pituitary gland produces too much growth hormone.

If Dwyane Wade's expanding cheeks are any indication, then I would say yes.
