Does anyone here play hockey at all? I'm thinking about joining a local adult rec beginner league and I'm wondering if anyone has experiences they want to share.

Haha thanks, Earthbound definitely has a special place in me. I'll bet that Ness is a hockey fan if he's got any taste whatsoever.

I play, actually. I haven't in about a year now, but I do when I can. Didn't start skating until I was 17 so I'm terrible at it. But I started playing floorball recently, which is like floor hockey or street hockey. Now that I can do pretty well!

If Jersey's Team can pull out a win tonight they will hopefully start a winning streak with winger Damien Brunner who has been the most electrifying devils player to watch since zach parise left .

I don't know about anyone else here, but I'm starting to warm up to the new uniforms for Dallas. They actually look like hockey uniforms instead of basketball ones. * at least to me * 8)

Yeah, and the shade of green is the original one used by the team years ago. :) Looks nice.

They're good. I like the green ones more than the white ones. I was at the game against the Capitals two weeks ago and got a free shirt and I've been wearing it quite a bit. As a Penguins fan and as one who was pulling for the Sabres in 1999, I feel incredibly dirty wearing it.

I'm just glad the jerseys look a lot better than last years.

You guys should seriously have a Northstars throwback jersey game, like during a road trip at Minnesota. People would go nuts it would be so amazing.
