Screening for skin cancer
I have white skin, have a history of sunburns and have lots of moles. I think that would be enough reason to be screened for skin cancer. Of course it never has once been suggested by any doctor, because doctors are in general irresponsible people and it would never cross their minds to do so. I did ask my last family doctor and he told me to screen myself. Well first off, I find looking at skin conditions to be beyond gross, 2nd off I can't see my own back or several areas of my body, and 3rd, when using that ABCDE rule, to my aspie mind, every single mole is asymmetrical, every mole has border irregularity, I don't see ANY pattern in any of them. To my mind they are all different from one another. He did find one mole that he said "he will need to keep an eye on". But really? Is he going to do that? No of course not.
