At the moment iam eating healthy foods too keep in physical health. I tell my parents my goal is too eat sensibly. However i find that my dad buys my very fatty foods (even when telling him i am cutting down on junk) and he usually buys me something unhealthy too eat and i respond by saying "dad i don't want that its unhealthy and fattening" and he then responds "yeah you do want it james".

for easter i even said "do not buy me a ridicolous amount of chocolate eggs only too wake up and find this morning a feast of chocolate eggs for me too eat.

Why do u think my dad is doing this despite me saying too him that i am watching what i eat? I do exercise tons so maybe dad thinks it does not matter what i eat since i burn it off by exercising?

Who knows?
A power game? Maybe some deep psychological resistance to some nonsense that has nothing to do with you, but you remind him of some ancient or internal argument? Resentment / jealousy that his child might exceed him at something, no matter how trivial? Maybe he takes it as a personal insult that his own child rejects his life-style? Sometimes a person (especially a control freak) can get a bug up his arse, and once it’s firmly entrenched, no power on Earth will dislodge it.
Good luck.
