I love Zumba and really get into the music.
It's only as hard as you want it to be. If you've had any dance tuition before, you should find following the instructor fairly straight forward. But, if it's new to you, then you might find the choreography hard to follow at the start. In any case, it's meant to be fun, so it doesn't matter if you get the moves wrong. After a few weeks, you'll pick up the dances.
I normally go to a regular class, but I've been plagued by a few (minor) health problems recently and can't wait to be fighting fit, so I can return. I've danced since I was 3yrs, so I find it easy to follow, so long as the instructor has proper dance training. I've been to a couple of classes where the teacher had been on the Zumba course, but definitely did not have proper dance training. I had real problems working out what they were doing with their feet and felt like a beginner. And I went to two classes where the music was far too loud, so I stopped going to them. So, it can be a bit of trial and error to find the perfect class.
I hope you choose to go along, as I'm sure you'll have fun.
