I've been with this for months. I've went to the doctor and he says that everything's fine and it's all from my mind. He recommend me to do a tympanogram.
Whenever I eat, I have this annoying sound coming from my right ear and it seems like wax scrubbing in my inner ear. I do not know what to do. I always try to take something out, with no result. Also, I am sure that I can't listen to things as clear as I used to do.

What should I do? Is there any domestic medicine that I could try out?

Thank you in advance.

A doctor once prescribed an antihistamine for me when I had a problem with ear wax.

Spray water in your ears while in the shower. Then after you get out of the shower wait around 10-15 minutes, and then clean your ears out with some dry cotton-swabs.

Note that this was to slow down or prevent the creation of more ear wax, not to get rid of what I already had.

Next time you are at the dentist, have them check you out for TMJ. It could be your jaw putting pressure on your ear.

It could be an audio sensory thing.. ie your hearing might just be really sensitive to that sound right now and you might otherwise not ever notice it.

But if it is earwax, you could try having your ear canals "candled," with beeswax to pull out waxy build up.

Alternatively, you could pour some hydrogen peroxide in your ear and let it bubble the wax out. It's safe and will not damage your hearing. One of my deaf friends did this recently with great success to clear out waxy buildup caused by wearing hearing aids all the time. I've yet to try it myself, but probably will sometime. Feel free to google it or ask a doctor about it before doing it yourself if you're at all concerned about it not being safe or damaging your hearing.

Go to the drug store and get some of that wax removal stuff. It will have a bottle of stuff (mainly peroxide I think) and a bulb syringe. This is how I do it. Put 10 drops of the stuff in your ear. Hold your head to the side for at lease 5 minutes. You can lay down if you want. You'll feel it running down in there, maybe even in your throat or it will feel like it. Then fill the sink up with warm water, not hot. Fill the bulb syringe up with the water, and while holding your head over the sink, stick it in your ear and squirt it, fairly hard. Hold your head straight up until you get the hang of it. I go twice in each of the four directions in my ear with it, and sometimes you will feel the wax sort of and can get "down up under it" with the water. When that happens youll see nasty little pieces of it that come out.

To prevent this from ever happening again, clean the inside with a q-tip every day after your shower and do the squirty was stuff once a month.

Stay away from those ear candles, they just look too dangerous.

I do this with my youngest boy about once a month. I think he could start a candle factory. :eew:
