Im currently a, more or less, obese person and Im trying to lose weight as much as I can. I also dont really know much about the kinds of fats in foods, like Saturated Fat, Trans Fat and normal Fat......so could someone please explain to me? Ive heard that saturated ones are less healthy than normal ones, and that Trans ones are the worst which can also cause a heart attack? Is that true as well?
Another thing I'd like to know is, when I do physical exercise like walking for example......do I lose/burn just normal fats, or I also lose the trans fats and saturated fats as well?
I have recently eaten some kind of sausages which contained a lot of trans fat, and Im somewhat scared that I would get a heart disease or something soon.....
Thanks,
Noam

I think saturated fats and mono-saturated fats are the good fats. They are found in meat, oils and lard.
I was never obese but when I went on my own diet, I ate high amounts of fats: lard, meats, coconut oils, broths - in large quantities and I lost 15 pounds. If you want to lose weight, instead of going on some fad diet, just eliminate these items:
1) sugars
2) grains
3) packaged foods
