It's called tinnitus. You will want to see an ear, nose, and throat specialist to be evaluated. Depending on how severe the ringing is in your ears, there are some options to help you tune out the ringing. My ENT recommended I get a white noise generator and keep it running. Since I been using a commercial app on my iPhone and iPad called Sleep Machine in order to get to sleep at night, I showed it to my ENT, and he told me I'm already ahead of the curb. He also recommended mineral supplements, such as Zinc, Ginko Biloba, Garlic, etc. to help reduce the ringing. However, I'm not a doctor, and I'm just going by what my ENT recommends. But definitely get evaluated by an ENT.

Definitely go to the doc and take Lipoflavonoid just in case.

You can use it to tune an instrument. My violin seems to agree that it is an A sharp.

My ears ring quite often. It is most pronounced if I had a radio or tv on and then shut it off.

Save your money. I don't think there is any legitimate research that indicates this actually helps.
