I am 5ft7 and weigh 142 pounds currently. Last night I was talking to this guy at the bar who claimed to be 252 pounds and 5ft11 (he was exaggerating his weight). I told him my weight and he told me 'you look like you should be heavier'. What does he mean exactly? A little while ago my weight went up to 148 pounds and my parents told me "you look better for carrying more weight"

For the record I am 'medium boned'

People look different depending on how much they weigh. Some people look kind of weird at certain weights, maybe not quite too skinny or too fat, but just a bit off. Sometimes people have a slightly chubby face or a big head, and it looks like their body doesn't match their face if they are a bit too thin. It's a subjective perspective, though.

Yeah I guess my head does look a bit big compared to my body when I am at the lower end of the 140 pound range.

People always say I look like I weigh about 150 when I'm really about 196. People just say things like that.
