I had the pleasure of dealing with below zero degrees Celsius dew points this past weekend and Monday. I had dry mouth when I was with my therapist because I had to talk so much, then when I came home, I set up my humidifier, but that didn't stop me from having a tight chest and coughing and feeling like I had a bit of a hard time breathing. Today, the dew point has jumped above 10 degrees Celsius, which is a tolerable level and I feel a lot better. It's supposed to stay this way till Thursday, when it gets dry again.
Last winter I had really bad bronchitis and bad reactions to the dry air, but I tested negative for asthma at my allergist's clinic. I wonder, though, if I should try a different test, like the methacholine challenge test or the provocative testing for cold air-induced asthma.
What do y'all think?
