Anyone who says summer is 'fine' hasn't become sufficiently hot... currently I can't even exercise, as the fan I currently have can barely cool me when not moving...

I really know how you feel, Mootoo.

I can't survive without my air-conditioner.

I know it's been hot in the UK recently. London Heathrow had an all-time high of 36.7 Celsius recently.

But it will get cooler where you are, soon.

Then, you'll feel more like exercising.

Hi, I live in Southern California, where it is rarely over 90, but have lived in the Central Valley, where we averaged
10 days in July above 100. And, my house did not have AC, so I get you. Ideas that worked for me... Swim! Find
a pool ,Y, or lake/river/beach and swim or just wade, jump around, and play. Walk the dog in the early am or
evening. Try PIlates. I can do it even when it's 100 degrees out. PS I am 70, have worked out 6 days a week for
35 years. Best, Alice

Ugh, you have my sympathies; I know how miserable that can be. I grew up in southern areas in the days before air conditioning. I well remember trying to fall asleep in the stifling heat, expectantly awaiting the next turn of the oscillating fan and its few seconds of respite.

Do you have anywhere that you could go to swim?

Only publicly, and it's far away and prices since the cuts have gone up, so I can't even play badminton like I used to because it's 3x as much...

I've already had my fill of humidity and mosquitoes.
