Is the sugar in this likely to decay enamel?

https://www.ocado.com/webshop/product/B ... /207644011 - quite nice, but each biscuit has 6g of (carbohydrated) sugars... which I'm assuming could create decay, although perhaps not as much as the average energy drink?

I've never heard of this product, but to me it sounds like it would be actually pretty good for you. The sugars in it are way lower than most products of this kind.

I don't think it would be worse than anything else with sugar....just keep up with regular brushing and I imagine it should be fine.

Lack of Vitamin D also rots the teeth, as enamel is like bone material.

not more or less than 6g of sugar in any other product.

it is less bad than soda, since soda is also acidic, which worsens the effects of sugar on your enamel

Anything can create decay but as long as you brush and floss you should be pretty much ok.

Stuff like potato chips (crisps) cause decay, it is not simply about what is in the food but how the food stays in you mouth, and the brushing habits.

6g is not a lot, just brush and you should be fine.

Dairy products work wonders for your teeth, just as long as you wash it down with a diet drink/water, having sugar foods random throughout the day would lead to a higher risk of decay. If you are aware of these things then you have nothing to worry about.

Furthermore gelatinous foods also contribute to less decay, so if you have a dessert like jelly, the sugar should just run off, unless its a sugar-free jelly, or the jelly fat you find on meat if thats what you're into.

Vitamin D3, Omega-3 and Calcium would be your top vitamins for preserving your bones and teeth.
