Once or twice a week, usually Subway or a healthier alternative.

Lately? Way too often. All of my dishes are dirty and I haven't been able to get my dishwasher to work. There's also too much to do by hand.

I wonder, do people here consider packaged microwave meals to be fast food? I was just thinking of stuff from fast food restaurants.

Very seldom, I like In-N-Out occasionally which they have here but other than that I typically avoid eating fast food unless I get dragged into it.

I read a little about that on the fatlogic subreddit.

I only eat it on very rare occasions. I hate the way it tastes. The sight of a big mac makes me feel like vomiting.

One time when we were visiting some family in North Carolina I ate Hardee's and crapped my pants.

The only thing I like about burgers and fries oriented fast food is milkshakes. Taco Bell is okay, but it's too messy.

I think the reason behind this is that because I eat it rarely my stomach is sensitive to the food. I don't even eat burgers from other restaurants a lot of the time.

I eat McDonald's about twice a year when my family goes on trips. Very rarely do I eat fast food for supper.

My top five favourite fast foods in my area based on taste:

1. Del Taco
2. Church's Chicken
3. Burger King
4. Carl Jr's.
5. Taco John

Where I usually end up eating because of price:
1. Burger King
2. MacDonalds
3. Jack-in-the-Crack
4. Taco Hell
5. Del Taco

Top five list of what I wish we could get locally:
1. Whataburgers
2. Taco Bueno
3. Taco Time
4. Arctic Circle
5. Peter Piper Pizza (arguably not "fast" food, but almost as cheap.)

If pre-packaged microwave/oven food from the supermarket counts: about once/week.
If we only count actual fast-food restaurants, roughly once/month (takeout, delivery, drive-troughs included), ignoring the occasional iced-drink i get when i drive home from work if it's hot (my car doesn't have airconditioning).

I like cooking, and making your own food is healthier and cheaper than premade meals, so that is an easy way to live healthier and on a budget

I agree. My mom loves cooking paleo meals and we don't eat in restaurants a lot. My mom is an excellent cook.

I guess I should include hot dogs, burritos and nachos from gas stations as fast food also, even if I carry their stuff away to a nearby bar to chow it down with some beer.
