Qutting smoking

So I've been a smoker for about 7 years, and I find it bad for my health and a waste of money - I've always been prone to addictive behaviors (smoking, drinking, excessive gaming or internet usage) and I think there may be a link between addictions and Asperger's due to the fixed routines and rituals.
If anyone else here has quit smoking, I'd like their advice on how to do it - I once quit for about a month (but ended up engaging in other addictive behaviors, such as drinking a lot of energy drinks).
