Why are men more prone to health problems than women?

I don't think they are more prone to health problems, but they are less likely to seek medical help when symptoms first appear and then they suffer more because the problem wasn't treated earlier.

Women have 2 X type chromosomes so if one of them goes bad they still have the other. Men have X and Y, one of each. If the X goes out of commission you're f****d :D

And men in general go thru harder physical routine than women... manual labor jobs cause health issues over time.

Men tend to have more dramatic health problems such as heart attacks etc. Women tend to have more chronic ailments among them autoimmune illnesses.

There is probably som evolutionary reason why.
