As a long suffering Oilers fan, I am starting to get a little excited for the first time in a VERY long time.

Nothing big here for me. The Blackhawks had 3 wins in recent years.

Same except being a Stars fan last year wasn't great, and this year we made some plays in the off season.

At least you had many years of kicking our butts in the playoffs in the later 90s/early 2000s :) I just looked at the Stars stats: I thought last year was the first time they missed the playoffs in many years but I see they missed it 5 years in a row.

Don't remind me how many times we missed the playoffs. We get enough flak for being a "Southern" team that doesn't sell out every game.
