Next year I'm racing for a team that promotes Autism so I was just curious to how many autistic people (only 5 on the team right now) race.

Road race/marathon/crit, or cyclocross.

One of my special interests IS running. I have been running for 10 years or so. I am training for my 11th and 12th marathon this coming fall.

Which group are you running for and what race?

I am starting my own Charitable Organization called ASD Athletes (paperwork is in for tax deductable status with the government)... I had the idea from a local Road Race (Ribbon Run 5k) that is sponsored by a organization that helps adults with autism.

Apart from Running, I also do triathlons and want to do the MS Ride (my father had MS and died of related complications)

I've done BMX in the "good ole days" when I was younger (and a lot lighter).

Yep, but just for fun. Just got me a Cannondale "Bad Boy", which is the perfect bike for Amsterdam streets. That ombination of mountain & racingbike fits quite well with those lousy road conditions along the channels and makes it quite funny to go fast betwen tourists, cars & other obstacles.

I don't race but i'd like to eventually. i'm usually too busy with rowing competitions so i probably won't bike race until i slow that down (many years from now). i use my road bike for training though, i love biking, i just don't love it as much as rowing.

I have a Trek 520 that I've been meaning to put some Avocet Fasgrip slicks on, but I don't intend to race it. It's a touring bike that has the big chainrings of a racing bike.

Skating is my main sport and what I do for my regular workout routine. I've competed in an annual race around Central Park (NYC) a couple of times and I might do it again in the future. For approximately 5 years I was a downhill slalom racer, but that's sprinting, not endurance.

I'm racing for a new team that's being put together called Spectrum Cycling, we're going to be racing at the local charity events, and also a few competitions, as for the MS ride, I'm doing that this year (Sept 7) and have already raised 200$, my condolences to your father.
