I'm having some sensitivity problems....

Here's a few examples, Whenever I wear certain clothes, touch certain things, or even eat certain food, I get easily sensitive to it (I also have allergies and asthma, too, so that makes it hard) so are there any medications to cure or treat this or anything?

What do you mean sensitive to it?

Could well be a case of needing to supplement with a couple of vitamins that spring to mind, but I'd need more detail - do you come out in a rash? Does heat aggravate it? Do you smoke? Is it physical or mental sensitivity? What kinds of fabric? What kinds of food? How often does it happen? etc etc :)

Rash, yes.
Heat, sometimes.
I don't smoke.
It's both physical or mental sensitivity.
Fabric: my own bedsheets is an example.
Food: Not sure.
It happens from time to time.

Rash, yes.
Heat, sometimes.

Suck it up? Just deal with it man I'm going to assume your a male and part of being a man is to just deal with this kind of stuff. I used to get sensitive to certain things and I found more exposure to "said thing" minimized discomfort or completely went away all on its own.

If you get bad heatrashes you can try supplementing with beta-carotene, which converts to vitamin A in the body. But consult with someone in a health food shop first if you do get it, because you need to get the dosage right. Too much can be toxic, and if you're a smoker it can actually promote cancer so you shouldn't take it at all. So don't just go and get it without getting proper advice first.

As for bedsheets... are you sure it isn't the washing powder you're using? Try going for a natural one, like Ecover, or even better these: http://www.soapods.com which are cheap, organic, and completely chemical and allergen-free (as they grow on trees). I use them, have done for years, and although I was skeptical at first they work better than anything I've ever used, they leave things really soft, and you don't get allergic rashes and eczema. Lots of health food shops will have them, or you can order online from lots of places.


What kinds of things do you eat? Need more detail again if that's not enough to start with (you can PM me if you want). :)
