erm I really really wanna improve my fitness but two things are stopping me
1. I'm a smoker

and...

2. I seem to have a TERROR of excerising properly due to the fact I have rhematoid arthritus and It cause me to be in agony when I try to do any form of exercise that will leave me brwathless becasue of the strain on my joints (its most worst on my hips and knees)

I know this may not be a great place to talk about this but I was wondering if any of you had any tips??

How about swimming? There's no real impact on your joints then, and it can be a really good workout.

The two simple things I did for the last 8 months was:

changing my diet around and walking. really, I cut out a lot of pop and Mc foods and went out for strolls to a coffee shop and did drawing and walk home.

I went from being a 46 to a 34 and 260 to 220. It was really easy.

It only takes a couple of small changes to improve your body. losing weight isn't the hardest thing.
