So earlier this week I had my second panic attack in three months. I managed to overcome it and I'm fine now, but I didn't go to the hospital because I knew I'd have to sit there for three hours and pay three figures just so they'd tell me I'm PHYSICALLY fine (it's in my head that's the problem).

Does anyone know natural ways to overcome anxiety? Without medication or therapy? Particularly that tender feeling in your chest about a week or two after you've had the attack.

This works for me.

I just mentally fight it. Keep fighting it and you eventally get through it. You feel mentally exhausted afterwards though.

I've tried this and it does work, however the effects wore off after a while. Try geting your hands on some poppy seeds. Lightly toast them in an oven (don't let it burn), then grind them up, very fine.

Use about half a teaspoon of poppy seeds in warm milk (add a little honey) before bed. Try it, and tell me what happens...
