I've been recieving personal training for about two years now, and I finally can bench 160. My goal by around this time next year is to get up to 200 lbs. I enjoy weightlifting because it gets rid of your frustration and anger, and it gets girls to notice you.

It also makes your penis smaller! Yay!! Just kidding. Steroids are what do that.

Bodybuilding is fun and natural. By the way, do not forget to work out your rotator cuffs. Make sure you do these exercises if you are doing intense bench pressing. Your personal trainer should be telling you this but if not, that's why I am here. :)

Also, if you are going to work out your pecs, you should work out your lats. Asymmetry is no good when it comes to your body. It puts unnecessary strain on your joints and/or other ball-and-socket, etc.. places.

I don't do bodybuilding, I do powerlifting.

Powerlifting is more strength oriented. Bodybuilding is oriented towards muscular hypertrophy. The advice I posted still applies to powerlifting. If you keep benching without working your rotator cuffs you'll eventually feel the pain.
