My T said that it doesn't matter what the label is called just as long as I get the right treatment for the right symptoms.

I’m in a major burnout within my other major burnout.

Your T is correct and as long as you get the right treatment it should be all that matters. For some people labelling something can have a therapeutic effect the reverse is also true.

Well yeah, it's me who has a problem with having a DID diagnosis so he narrowed it down to just dissociative disorder and then I changed it completely because I think it sounds more better if its classed as a behaviour disorder because I think thats more me. So he said it doesn't matter what it's called as long as I get the right treatment.

It is a rule that you are not allowed to have 2 accounts on WP but I wonder if it would be acceptable to have multiple accounts if you had DID and your alters only used their relevant account?

That's not even allowed on the DID forum I'm a member of and so it shouldn't be here either. I think we already have enough problems with sock puppets without people having an actual excuse for such behaviour.

I think there is, but it seems to be a subset of regular paranoia.
Some former members were always making drama about cliques, stalkers, and covert messages.
They thought the world revolved around them.

I think it's weird that one condition where you get audio hallucinations is considered a mental illness and another condition where you may hear voices is considered as a coping mechanism.

I don't know about forum paranoia, but there is certainly forum fatigue.

What condition where a person may hear voices, is not considered a mental illness? I am curious.
