50 mg of Seroquel led to extreme dizziness and memory loss
The MAJOR cause of death for people with schizophrenia is now heart failure and NOT suicide. As for proof, I have already provided links and I will do so again, and, well listen to this and then see what you think. The fact is there is millions of research out there, you just have to want to listen to it and read it. No one that I am aware of is anti medication or anti psychiatry, but we are anti lies. And in this field it is full of lies. It is now called "critical psychiatry' and is being led by psychiatrists that are sick of seeing people die and people being permanently disabled. Sure there are "some' people who do well on the medications, but the aggriagates overall are not that at all. I can also give you people who have smoked 80 cigarettes a day for 60 years and do not have lung cancer. The fact is individuals are not aggregate data and it is the agragate that is there. THere is now proven scientific evidence that antipsychotics destroy brain cells and kill whole parts of the brain and that this results in permanent cognitive decline. This is based on length of time it is used for as well as dosage levels. It is also worth knowing that it has been proven beyond any shadow of a doubt that the atypicals are no safer and are in fact in many cases more toxic than the traditional antipsychotics. In fact there is evidence that the risk of death is higher and the lifespan shorter with the atypicals. It was simply media spin that managed to convince people that they were safer. And that is all the drug companies are after, convincing people that the drugs are safe. It should also be remembered that most countries in the world do not allow drug companies to advertise to consumers directly. In most countries they can only advertise in medical journals and send things directly to registered medical doctors. Drug companies are not interested in you buying medications that are out of patent you can buy them for a tiny proportion of what they can charge for medications still in patient. Hence its much more financially viable for them to have you buy the newer drugs and hence these are the only ones they want you to know about.
The other reality is that there are places in the world in which they do not treat people with schizophrenia with medication, and they do actually get much better outcomes. The World Health Organisation has twice done research and discovered that people in the developing world and the poorer countries of the world have much better outcomes, than those in the developing world, and the only difference that can be found between them is in the medication they use and the amount of medication they use.
Using medication is not bad or wrong, what is wrong it the amounts of it being used and the widespread use of it in the community, and that without any research to support it people are being kept on it for life. Sure people take medication for all sorts of conditions, but the aim is to always have people on the lowest dose possible and for the shortest possible length of time. Yet in psychiatry they do the opposite, they have no hesitation in putting people on multiple combinations of medication, there are people taking up to 12 antipsychotics at the same time, without any consideration given to how the drugs interact with each other, whether the person has recovered naturally and whether it may be possible to lower the dose.People take chemotherapy for cancer and that is hardly good for them, but they are not expected nor told to take it for life on the belief that it "may" prevent them from getting cancer again, and yet that is a very reasonable prospect. People are rarely in remission for life, most have multiple bouts.
Ultimately is it an invidual responsibility to decide what they want to do with their lives and their bodies. But just because you do not agree with someone does not mean that they are wrong. If you believe that these drugs are perfectly harmless, then where is your evidence that they are?? Evidence goes two ways, and if you are saying that what we are saying is wrong, then provide the evidence to prove it. Where is the evidence that people with schizophrenia are more likely to die from suicide than anything else and how recent is that research. Where is the research that shows that all of these side effects are mild and not long lasting and not harmless. Where is the research to show that these medications do not cause cognitive decline, that they do not cause permanent and lasting brain damage, etc.

Seroquel(and anti-psychotics in general) are pure evil.
They are completely unnatural, mind-controlling, mind numbing, disabling drugs designed to control members of the population that don't fit in.
The purpose of such "medication" is to treat difference in psychology and/or neurology as a "wrong" way of thinking and to reduce non-conformists to mindless zombies.
I was on Seroquel, I ALWAYS felt tired, was depressed a lot, got paranoid thoughts about other people and was generally in a bad state of mind.
If anything, these pills CAUSED any mental illness/psychosis I show.
