Why are people not evil for advocating forced pregnancy? People have every right to choose to carry or not carry a pregnancy to term for any cause they see fit. Should Down Syndrome or ASD or whatever fetuses have rights above and beyond those we give other fetuses, or should we give all fetuses rights that no person would be given under any circumstance?

If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing. —Malcolm X
Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.
Just from my selfish point of view, when I was a kid there were Down's kids, and they sparked a sort of energy and empathy inside me. These days, they all start to die off and not many new are born. I miss having people with DS in my life.
However I will not say it is anyone's duty to have any baby, I mean I don't even want kids, I want my selfish life where I can think of my pets first and myself second.
But saying DS kids give nothing, in my case it was bull because they gave me what no other human did.
As for giving to their parents, they certainly do because most parents have a huge need of the kid reciprocating emotionally, and DS kids usually do BIG TIME. What parents miss with us aspies, is that we sometimes lack emotional reciprocity so our parents hunger for it all our childhoods.
Now luckily I wasn't born to parents that needed a lot of hugs and I love you's from me. But I'm sure other more normal parents would have missed that aspect.
I'm glad I was not aborted.
