I have no idea I was that narcissistic... So basically I'm worshipping a false image of myself...but I don't feel the need to hurt others just to make me feel good about myself..so I guess I can live with that..hmmnnn..but then again..how could I know?..I might be lying to myself...

I wouldn't put too much faith into that test. It was just a fun little thing to do. You don't have narcissism over one tiny little online quiz.

I think the point was supposed to be that these traits are actually pretty common. And its supposed to be something fun to talk about with your friends.

Is there a way to get the forum to message you when someone quoted you?

The Paranoid and Narcissistic bits. The rest are pretty much spot on though. Maybe I cant see the Paranoid in me. And I think the Narcissistic bit is getting mixed up with me not seeing anyone better then anyone else, but I think I don't see much value in anyone life as a whole (especially when there's so many of us), but I do a bit more in mine, because am living it. I don't know is that narcissistic?

When I read that back, that sounds really cold.

Oh and the Borderline bit was high when i was young, but now ad class it as low.

you may have to go into your personal settings page here on WP, by clicking on your icon. it will have a place for entering your email alerts if you haven't done so. alternately you can go to the forums page on the top right below the title line you will see "view posts since last visit" and you click on them and it'll show you who has responded to you.

I wouldn't worry to much about your narcissism scores...I know it can be scary because its a predatory personality disorder but as long as you don't feel the need to make other peoples life miserable then that's fine...in a fact a healthy dose of narcissism is actually vital for self confidence... And I believe it...after seeing my high scores in narcissism I've become more confident in this forum... I also trust the good people of WP to keep me in check in case I go overboard...as for high schizoid and high paranoid...I'm confused..because I thought those two are polar opposites... So I guess that having high scores in both would balance you out as a human being... But I could easily be wrong...haven't done actual research on those personality disorders....

"People with schizoid personality disorder are often aloof, cold, and indifferent, which causes interpersonal difficulty. Most individuals diagnosed with SPD have trouble establishing personal relationships or expressing their feelings meaningfully. They may remain passive in the face of unfavorable situations."

That sums we up well.

As for being paranoid, I think I am round other people because i cant read them, but that's it.

not that, but you're the first person who has articulated this reason which resonates deeply with me. that is precisely why I am not comfortable around other people, I just can't grok what they are about, their thinking process is totally alien to me.

Yes that makes sense. Ad like to ad if I have to spend time with them, like 4 months or more I have a habit of being able to read them threw they actions really well and understand what there capable of. But as soon as they come up to me and chat to me, I get blinded and am thinking "what are you up to now, are you being genuine within in the moment of time, I cant tell because I do not have enough information of what is going on now.

Don`t know if that makes sense.

it makes sense to me because each time with them is like starting over anew in the "figuring out" process.

if you don't mind saying, how would you say the high on borderline/OC affects your life?
