All that does is joining a group with the lowest common denominator.
Hardly an aspect of a free-thinker.

Collectivism = groupthink.
Individualism = free-thinker.
If the social system is perverse, it is perverse. [shrug]
Someone like me isn't going to conform, especially if I will never be completely accepted even if I do.
