Anxiety symptoms during certain conversations
If anything that could be considered controversial comes up in a verbal conversation that I'm in, I get very nervous. My heart beats faster and harder, my mouth goes dry, blood rushes to my head, my hands go numb, and I start to stutter. This even happens when I'm talking to people I know well. I know that I will probably cry if the conversation turns aggressive. I have opinions that I would like to share, but I am scared to death of people getting angry at me. I don't have any control of the symptoms; they just take control of my body. Does anyone else go through this, and is there anything I can do to fix it?
