I've messed up my meds, I don't know that I can get out of the house tomorrow, but I have to get to the bank, I've got stupid paranoid thoughts going through my head, I can't imagine anything sensible, but I keep thinking I'm going to jail.
I know it's not true, but I'm frightened to ask anyone for help.

Spoke with my doctor this morning, and she's got my meds sorted. I couldn't get to the bank, couldn't get out of the house, so I have to pray that I'll get the information I need before Monday when a lady from the mental health team is coming out to try and sort out my finances.

I'm calmer. Saw some of what I posted yesterday, and possibly have some apologising to do.

It's good that you're feeling a bit better today, mgran. I'm sure that any sensible person will make allowances for anything odd that you wrote while you were feeling agitated. Your posts are usually very kind and reasonable.

Hopefully once your financial situation is sorted out you'll feel even calmer. These things usually tend to work themselves out eventually, so try not to worry too much about it all until you speak with the lady on Monday, okay? Take care of yourself and give the meds time to work, won't you? Jenny

Thank you. I'm planning on doing nothing until Monday... my son is visiting his grandparents, so I have no responsibility at the moment other than feeding the animals, which I can do.

I'm glad I had a place to vent. Again, thank you guys.

Oh well... even though I'm calmer, I still can't sleep. Not sure how long it's been. I'm going to go and watch reruns of Mash.

((((((((mgran))))))) I hope you feel better. I know when I am feeling bad, or cant sleep, it can be good to watch TV, gives me something to focus on. I hope your body gets back to normal soon.

Mash!! !! I LOVE Mash!! !

Are you allowed alcohol? I'll split a bottle of red wine or even white zin with you. Better yet, I'll bring over a sixpack of Woodchuck (my personal favorite and all we drink at my house).

Goes really good with old Mash episodes.

Glad you're feeling a little bit better, though. Please keep us updated.

Mash reruns would be ideal to help you get through a sleepless night- entertaining, but reassuringly familiar. I haven't watched Mash for YEARS, but I can still probably recite most of the story-lines from memory. Hopefully the adventures of Hawkeye, Radar and the gang sent you off to sleep after a while, anyway, mgran. :)

Just to let you know, I'm a lot better... and yes, one of the reasons Mash helps is that it's so familiar I can practically recite the dialogue to each episode. I recorded every season on tape when they originally showed it on Channel Four (without the laughter track) and I used to watch it obsessively. It really helped that they've been reshowing it and I had a stack backed up on cable.

I'm glad you're feeling better, mgran. Those madcap medics of the 4077th seem to have worked their magic again!
