I apologise for the somewhat (i wish :lol:) Worrying title but i just have to ask something important.

Is something wrong with my brain?

Before you start typing away i must alarm people that this is not about the fact that i have Aspergers (not that there's anything wrong with that) but i digress.

This is related specifically to the thought processing part of my brain.

It seems as though,for the past couple weeks the thought processing part of my brain has become "Dormant" for lack of a better term.

I can't seem to process somewhat simplistic phrases or arguments no matter how hard i try (although i usually get it a couple minutes later) and i just have to wonder if it's from my long absence from school.

You see i entered holidays a couple months back (Im not exactly sure but i think it was around May or so) and just a couple weeks ago did i start having this;

So i ask you,is this simply due to the increasingly long absence from school or is some other cause?

I know 15 years old is a tender and vulnerable age but i have been increasingly alarmed by this due to the sudden rapidness of it.

I mean,the basic cognitive abilities are there and i ain't exactly dumb either so i don't understand the problem.

I understand that this may seem like a random and cobbled up tirade by me,but to be honest my brains are everything i have so i apologise if i seem to be making such a big fuss about this :lol:

I tried to be as professional as possible so i'd really apreciate if i could get some responses.

Thank you :D

Does it sound like Alexithymia? Which I don't even know what that is, I just searched for the opposite of Dysnomia. I think, neurologically, there just so many variations of what our brains are going to do because they aren't typical. I think if it persists or gets worse, you should see a neurologist. But I don't think you should worry, it is probably normal and transient.

My mother said this is basically the way my brain compensates for being for the most part inactive now,yet i still feel worried.

I seem to understand things that i like or need to,yet can't seem to process simple arguments or sentences without getting lost in my train of thought,which is worrying considering this started happening just WEEKS AGO.
