I have a problem with picking my nails, and it's mostly my pinky fingers...

My son takes great joy in picking his toes.

Nail biting for me and toe nail picking.

If you're talking about picking the cuticles and skin around your nails, I do this almost incessently. Bleeding sometimes makes me stop.

I have to cut my nails short or I bite them when I'm anxious. I also noticed my dad has morbidly short nails, as did my best friend in school who I'm positive has aspergers.

My daughter picks at my fingernails, skin around the fingernails, toe nails, callouses, etc. I run distance so my toe nails and surrounding skin are constantly distressed, so it keeps her busy. I find it oddly comforting and so does she.

I bite my finger and toe nails.

Obviously only my finger nails in public I do it when I'm anxious or bored. I'll do it while I'm talking if I'm really anxious.

Done it my entire life, even to the point of splitting a nail in half or ripping nails out completely sometimes.

I remember when I started biting nails. It was when I was 3 years old and saw my dad do it then I just began to do it...

I bite my fingernails, cuticles and the surrounding skin. I also rub the rough patches of skin together or against my lips. I've done it since I can remember.

I do the same.
I pic at the cuticles, bite them, i chew my nails, will even rip them off. Im always constantly cleaning them with my 2 long thumb nails i have.
