The written report I got from a neurologist said that the way I speak has a dysprosodic quality to it. I was wondering If anyone has heard of this.

"odd prosody of speech" is one trait of AS. i have it also. either monotone, sing-song or alternating between the two idiosyncratically.

Hmm, not sure about myself. I had to look it up since I haven't been diagnosed with it.

People do sometimes think I have a foreign accent and will ask if I am from another country.

I think I tend to pick up other people's speaking styles that I see on TV and in other people more readily than your average person.

Not really sure, but people do sometimes act shocked when I tell them I am an American. Maybe I have this quality.
