Unless your WAIS subtest scores are way out of whack there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with you. From personal experience, I know that those can be the worst comments to hear, especially if one has a rare or unique situation, where no one, including professionals, has any knowledge or interest. Can you provide more information?

To my admittedly layman's perspective, nothing seems to be that unusual. NOS is often a dumping ground term for when they see something out of the ordinary, and don't know what to do. I have read and heard that matrices are a very good indicator of non-verbal intelligence, and vocabulary is the best one in terms of verbal IQ. A discrepancy of eight points (18 vs 10 on the performance scale) may also be significant. That may be a sign of your having some problem however slight.
You should probably investigate this further, and shoud talk again to the one who evaluated your WAIS results. It would be great if they knew right away how to properly assist you. However, it's quiote possible, and even probable, that you will have to read up on these topics, and figure much of this out on your own.
