I got the whole schizotypal/schizoaffective/schizoid spiel too, at my initial diagnosis with NVLD. Later others said I had Aspergers/HFA. I didn't believe my NVLD/AS diagnosis for 2 years after I got it, until I met and became friends with someone with NVLD/AS and saw the same patterns and difficulties in him that I have. Then I reran the the verbal IQ and performance IQ tests and about the same results as what I was initially told. Yay...
As far as anxiety and depression, I got diagnosed with those early on. Oddly I never recognized any anxiety or depression in myself, people only told me I was. Another sign of Aspergers, alexithymia. Yay.
