I didn't know where to put this, and I don't know if Dyslexia is the right word, but I am just weirded out about something.

I often find myself missing numbers or misreading numbers. Like a few times I have set my alarm on my phone for something like 8.15am, and I read it out loud to myself to double check that it was set for 8.15am, then the next morning I woke up later than I wanted and found my alarm was going off at a completely different time to the time I thought I had set it at. Also I know I always wake up at my alarm because I am a light sleeper.

It also happens when reading out phone numbers. All the numbers role into one, and I become confused as though my brain can't register the numbers properly. It doesn't happen with letters, only numbers. I take forever dialling a written number. I'm a bit like Homer Simpson when he dials a long number in the episode ''In Marge We Trust''.

What could this be? I'm especially worried about the alarm one. It's made me distrust my eyes, and so now when I set the alarm on my phone, I end up looking at the clock on the wall to try to triple check, also I get other people to read it for me, et cetera.

I have dyscalculia. It took a few hours of testing to determine this, but I am glad that I got tested. I struggle with reading rulers, maps, digital and analog clocks. Maybe you have this too?

Sounds like Dyslexia to me. I have the same problem with looking at a phone number and dialing it or reading off a number to a friend. All of the numbers seem to be jumbled up and so close to eachother that its hard to make it out. I also have great difficulty reading an analog clock, it takes me a good 10 or 15 seconds to tell the time but then Im still not sure cause I can never remember which is the minute hand and which is the second hand. Writing down anything, words or numbers is always difficult because I get to writing and sometimes I just write the word backwards but more often I start writing a word and then start thinking about the next word to write and I start to write the next word halfway into the previous word.
